AREA OF INTEREST

The Branch covers the town of Cheltenham together with an area stretching north west, north and east to the borders with Hereford and Worcester, Warwickshire and Oxfordshire. The area includes Tewkesbury, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water and Northleach. 

SERVICES PROVIDED 

a. Monthly Newsletter. 

b. Regular meetings held usually at the Prestbury Road Day Centre, Cheltenham every second Saturday (3.30 prn) and, from April 1 to October, every last Thursday (7.30 pm) of the month. 

c. The Branch Welfare Officer will arrange home visits on request. 

d. Assistance where appropriate with holidays, purchase of equipment and welfare amenities. 

e. Hydrotherapy sessions every Thursday morning (11 am to 1 pm) at the Cheshire Home Hydrotherapy Pool, Charlton Lane, Cheltenham. 

f. Art Class every Tuesday during school term-time (10.30 pm - 12.30 pm) at the Voluntary Resource Centre, Bath Road, Cheltenham. 

g . Disabled transport is provided to Branch functions where requested- 

h. Ad hoc meetings of younger PwMS and special interest groups are arranged where requested. 

MEMBERSHIP 

The annual subscription for Branch Membership is £5. This entitles subscribers to attendance at all Branch meetings as well as receipt of the monthly Newsletter and the Society's bi-monthly magazine "MS Matters". 

PwMS are entitled to approach the Branch for assistance whether or not they are members of the Branch or the Society.
