In 2003 the MS Trust funded a research project to examine barriers to employment for people with MS, and to identify practical steps which could be taken to keep them in employment.  This article examines the project and discusses a few of the outcomes.

Discrimination Divide
A new bill shortly to be introduced is due to place a positive duty on the public sector to promote disability equality in the same way as racial equality. And it is expected that inclusion of changes to the the law will assist people with progressive conditions, such as HIV, cancer and multiple sclerosis.
