Newly Diagnosed : Introduction

Being told that you have Multiple Sclerosis (MS) can come as a shock, even if you have been unwell for sometime. You may feel anxious and worried about what’s going to happen in the future.

You probably have lots of questions about MS and how it is likely to affect you. In this part of the website we try to answer some of those questions.

Learning about MS can help you feel more confident about talking to your doctor so that you make the most of the treatments and care available to you. It can also help reassure you that although MS is a serious condition, it need not stop you leading a full and active life.

Did you know?

MS affects about three times as many women as men.
